Rajasthani Lal Maans Mix
Lal maans (literally “red meat”) is a speciality of Rajasthan. The red colour is achieved by the usage of Mithania mirch, a special Red chilli of Rajasthan. Historically this was prepared by the Rajput men as part of their evening feast and understandably has a simple list of local ingredients.
The DIY mix will allow you to prepare the cuisine in simple 3 steps. The packet contains of the required ingredients - you just need to add mutton, curd, cooking oil and water
- Flavouring mix - Add this sachet along with the mutton while boiling
- Gravy mix - Mix with water to prepare the gravy
- Detailed Instruction - An instruction card which will contain details of the steps to be followed so that even a novice can prepare the dish
